Jacquey Turner - Owner/Director

Jacquey has been working in the travel industry since 1984 and has owned and operated Gippsland Travel since 1988.

Jacquey conducts overseas personally escorted tours three to four times a year and they are very popular, traveling to fantastic and diverse destinations such as Egypt, Africa, China and South America to mention a few. Jacquey finds these tours a really enjoyable aspect of her career.

Cruising remains a favourite holiday offering interesting destinations without having to unpack the suitcase every day.

Bob Turner - Owner/Director

Owner of Gippsland Travel for over 20 years, Bob has travelled extensively. He does not want to sit behind a desk in the office but is very involved in the management and upkeep of the agency

Debbie Hulbert - Senior Consultant

Debbie has worked in the Travel Industry since 1994. Having travelled to many destinations she finds it difficult to choose an absolute favorite.

Most recently visited favorites include Africa, Egypt and Singapore. “I think it is the local culture I find most interesting along with the traditional foods!”

Debbie is currently on maternity leave and will return in mid 2010.

Virginia has over 20 years of travel experience which has included travelling all over the world as a tour escort.

Virginia's favourite destinations are Africa, Paris, New York and of course many parts of Australia.

She has recently returned from touring Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos and believes this diverse region is a ‘must-see’.

Deb began her travel career in 1999 and headed overseas to work in the UK while travelling through Europe and Asia.

Travelling to the US, she continued working in the travel industry in New York and Colorado for the next six years. Having visited many countries, the ski slopes of Colorado still remains a highlight, however after recently travelling through Southern India she was very impressed with the tranquility of the area.

Tanille began her travel career in 2006 and has already travelled to various destinations overseas including Bali, Malaysia, Thailand, Fiji as well as within Australia.

One of her favorite aspects of travel is wandering around the local markets and experiencing each countries local culture and cuisine.

Jan has worked in the media for over 25 years, and being an avid traveller, now finds working at Gippsland Travel very rewarding.

Jan has first-hand experience in world travel, having toured extensively in Australia, the British Isles, Europe, Southeast Asia, Pacific Islands, Greek Islands, United States, Canada and Alaska, and East Africa.  Jan’s recent travels through South America were certainly a highlight.

Claire Garner - Senior Consultant/Office Manager

With 11 years of travel industry knowledge Claire loves the variety of destinations that Gippsland Travel's Clients choose to experience.

She still travels extensively and also manages to look after all the accounting and bookkeeping requirements, while ensuring the office runs smoothly.  Later this year Claire will be taking maternity leave.

Michelle Gibbins - Senior Consultant

Michelle joined the team in August 2007. Her extensive experience includes working for a major wholesale travel company in Melbourne and she has also travelled to Europe, Vietnam, Cambodia, Turkey and New Zealand.

  While she has loved everywhere she has visited, Michelle found her travels through South America and the Galapagos Island to be a most amazing experience.

Clair Brown - Senior Consultant

With over five years of consultancy/managerial experience in the industry, Claire has a strong passion for travel and aviation. 

Claire has travelled extensively throughout the USA, Bali, Malaysia, Thailand, New Zealand & Australia.  Her most treasured travel experiences range from watching a spectacular space shuttle launch from Cape Canaveral in Florida through to swimming off the idyllic Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsundays.

Linda Owen - Receptionist

Originally starting with us in February 2003 fresh from college Linda gained valuable experience while working with us before taking leave in 2005 to start her family. 

Linda has travelled to New Zealand, experienced most of Queensland and has extensive knowledge of travelling through Tasmania.  Re-joining us in 2009, Linda is looking forward to expanding her expertise of the industry.
